FAC members typically interact with other members of the adoption triad more than with the adoptee. Nevertheless, the best interests of adoptees is of great concern for all members. Making sure that prospective adoptive homes are thoroughly vetted and that prospective adoptive parents are well educated and equipped to raise an adoptive child are just two of the ways in which FAC members work on behalf of adoptees.
